Heatwave

The heat is on for sure!!! This summer has been scorching and oh so slow for the floral shops! Flowers in general are not considered a necessity especially during these hot summer months. There has to be a specific reason to call and order an arrangement and believe me the florists feel it! To adjust we convert to summer hours, and we bring in a limited supply of product. Flowers are perishable and if the demand isn’t there the abundance of flowers on hand is limited. Here at Simply Petals, we are operating with summer hours, and we also close our storefront and operate by phone only. When we are out of the shop, we transfer our phone lines in order to be available to our customers. Same day deliveries are available but must be placed before noon. If there is a special request for certain flowers, we will need a least a days’ notice in order to try and accommodate the request. Just like us at the retail level our wholesale florist is only bringing in the bare minimum. Please try and take that into consideration before getting frustrated if we cannot accommodate your request! The rest of this week will be extra Hot so please take care! Brandi
